Terms of Service

1. The service

Zipply provides AI-assisted listing generation: we turn your photos and notes into marketplace-ready text (title, price, description, category). We are not a marketplace, and we do not facilitate transactions between you and any buyer.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to use Zipply.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions, and listings you create using Zipply. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content through our AI provider (currently OpenAI) to generate your listings, and to store and display that content to provide the service to you.

4. Your account

If you sign in with email, we store your listings on our server so they synchronise across devices that sign in with the same email. You can delete a listing at any time, or request deletion of your account and all associated content by emailing the contact address below (see our Privacy Policy for exactly what gets removed).

5. A free service

Personal use is free and we don't meter it. We may introduce paid plans for organizations and optional premium services in the future, but we won't start charging you for features you already use for free. We may apply reasonable safeguards against abuse or automated misuse.

6. Sales are time-limited events

A Sale and its shareable page are for a time-boxed event — a garage sale, an estate clear-out, a market weekend. A Sale's live window runs up to 30 days; to keep selling, you start a fresh Sale. Creating Sales and listings for personal use is unlimited.

7. Free and giveaway items

Listing an item as free is entirely at your discretion. As with any listing, Zipply isn't part of the handoff and makes no guarantees about it.

8. Buyer information

If you run a public Sale, you may receive buyers' contact details (name, phone, email) when they express interest. You are responsible for using that information lawfully and only to coordinate your sale.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Zipply to generate listings for items that are illegal, fraudulent, or that infringe the rights of others, and not to misuse any buyer information you receive. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this.

10. No sales facilitation

Zipply has no role in any transaction between you and a buyer. We do not take a percentage, hold funds, mediate disputes, or offer any guarantee about how a listing performs.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, the accuracy of AI-generated content, or any particular outcome from a listing.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Zipply's liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid to use the service in the prior 12 months (currently $0).

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email if you have signed in.
